Job Description
- Translate UI/UX design requirements into actual code to produce visual elements of the application
- Create website layouts and user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Design mobile-based features and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability and meet client needs
- Create quality mockups and prototypes as needed
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and apply them into operations and activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Design or a related field
- Proven experience as a Web Designer (1-2 years preferred)
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
- Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InVision, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques, and technologies
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
